The threaded adapter has a Dash connector on one side and a metric thread on the other. This makes it possible to connect fittings with a dash connection to a metric thread.
For the metric side you need a sealing ring - depending on the application, made of rubber, Teflon or aluminum. No additional seal is required for the side with the Dash connector.
